While we easily recognize the value of developing and improving ourselves in various areas of our lives - physically, mentally, socially, even financially - developing ourselves spiritually is an area most of us struggle to understand, and may assume we can disregard entirely. The truth is, our spiritual development is the most important area of life to focus upon if we want to experience true personal transformation. This episode is given to provide food for thought for the skeptical, in hopes they may be encouraged to seek God for themselves.

In this episode, the host shares 3 reasons why it is worth not only maintaining and but also improving our physical health.
If we are seeking to better ourselves, a great way we can do that is by reading good books that will challenge our thinking and prompt us to become better. This episode highlights one such book - "Man's Search For Meaning" by Victor Frankl, a concentration camp survivor camp who shares his observations as a psychologist from his experiences therein.
Businesses recognize the value a vision statement provides them, and many companies are willing to invest a significant amount of both time and human resources to develop one that will guide them into a more successful future. In the same way, taking time to develop a personal vision statement have be a great help to us as we seek to better ourselves. This episode provides some helpful thoughts on this subject, identifying Christ and Christlikeness to be the ultimate vision we should seek to personally realize.
Last episode, we identified that in seeking vision for our lives, we are identifying not only what we want to achieve but also who we hope to become. Recognizing this naturally leads us to seek to identify what ideal we are to pursue. We find the ultimate image of the human ideal in one man, Jesus Christ, and the more deeply we study his ways and his words we recognize His is the life we should pattern our lives after.
While we are often reluctant to get out of our comfort zone, as we accept and embrace challenge we experience God's enabling to do far more that we thought we could.
